大坪村在石狗镇西部，狗岗公路贯穿全村，辖16个村民小组，大量种植玉桂，有“玉桂之乡”之称。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
前身是1958年成立的大坪生产大队，1987年改设管理区，1998年起称大坪村民委员会。村名因村委会驻地设在大坪村而来。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村域面积9.7平方公里，耕地1235亩，人口1456人。[1]
经济[edit]
村里山多平地少，农户大量种植玉桂；晾干的桂叶、桂皮可蒸桂油、制香精。四会市公路局工作组驻村后，帮助兴建水力发电站，使村集体年收入增加约3万元。2020年8月，大坪村以肉桂入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
