东坑村是仁化县城口镇下辖的行政村，村名因多数村子建在东坑一带而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
东坑原归东罗乡管辖，1957年分出另设东坑乡；其后改为大队、乡、村委会、管理区，几经更替，1998年撤区设村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
东坑村在2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
据仁化县人民政府网站对城口镇的介绍，镇内四处地下热水中，东坑村有竹山下和月形背两处。[2]
