东风村在梅陇镇区西北部，共6个自然村（马福兰、土桥、白石岗、三合、金岗围、新厝仔）[2]，据博雅地名网，有360户、1718人，耕地3600多亩。[1] 作家丘东平的故居在村里的马福兰。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

东风村本属第三区银峰乡，1952年并入梅西乡，1960年自梅西大队析出，初名三合大队，1969年更名东风大队，1987年5月设村委会，1989年起称管理区办事处，至1998年恢复村委会名称。[1]

丘东平故居[edit]

丘东平故居建于清末，坐北朝南，土木结构，是海陆丰一带的酒盅型灰瓦民居，两进三间过，建筑面积160多平方米。[3] 它是丘东平1910年的出生地，2010年列为海丰县文物保护单位，2022年升为汕尾市文物保护单位。[3]

近年发展[edit]

据镇人民政府2026年的报道，该村属全国红色美丽村庄的建设试点：故居得到修缮，旁边添了红色文化广场和一条风雨长廊，每年办研学活动30多场；在南方电网的帮扶下，村里建起光伏项目，年收益16万元，还把50亩荒田复耕成丝苗米基地。[4][5] 2023年5月，东风村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
