历史沿革[edit]
民国时这一带叫隔海沙；1952年划归大晚乡，1958年东、西连村合成东风大队，其后改乡、改村，1996年定名东风村民委员会。[1]村名取“东风压倒西风”之意；另据村情介绍，1963年东风片与隔海片合并后定名东风村。[1][2]
经济与概况[edit]
介绍称，村里户籍常住1095户共4312人，外来人员6000多，开办工厂企业86家，养鱼的鱼塘约320口；设涌口、砖窑两个工业区，企业以出口五金产品为主。[2]东风小学的跳绳被当作全国特色教育的代表；村里年年办敬老节，农历六月十九另有民间庆典。[2]
