梅星村在梅陇镇区的东南面，2010年总人口3456人、700多户，耕地600多亩，村民多种蔬菜。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年属海丰建政的第三区银峰乡，1952年入梅陇乡；1958年成立梅星大队，1968年改称向阳大队，1984年称向阳农业管区；1987年5月起叫梅星村委会，1989年为管理区办事处，1998年恢复村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济与文化[edit]
梅星村在2020年、2021年、2022年连续入选「淘宝村」名单。[1] 官方名单共列7个自然村，即桥头村、古居寮、后围、东西村、梅中村、东二村、有东一村。[2] 2023年6月，东一村在安步溪办了龙舟友谊赛，12支龙舟队参加，赛程2600米；安步溪有农历五月初十赛龙舟的习俗。[3]
