历史沿革[edit]

该地1949年为长坪乡；1958年随人民公社化改作长坪大队，之后又先后成为乡政府（1983年）、管理区（1986年），1998年起由村委会管理。^[1]

镇内的铜矿分布在长坪、长江一带，瓷土也见于长坪。^[2]
