田心村在梅州市兴宁市叶塘镇境内，是镇属的行政村。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村里地势低，周围全是水田，处在田的中央，因称田心。[1]

建国初期（1949年）为田心村农会，1950至1957年为大队，1963至1986年称田心乡，其后改管理区，1999年起为村民委员会。[1]

著名人物[edit]

地震学家李善邦（1902年10月2日至1980年4月29日）出生于叶塘田心乡。[3]1930年，他主持修建了北平鹫峰地震台；1941年带着助手前往四川攀枝花一带勘探，判定那里有大型的含钛磁铁矿；1943年，他在重庆北碚造出国内第一台近代地震仪，型号为霓式I型。晚年写成专著《中国地震》。[2]
