大村位于兴宁市新圩镇，是镇所辖的行政村，博雅地名网作“大村村”。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据说此地原属下堡镇的大堡村，下堡镇与新圩镇合并后，由几个村合成一个较大的村，得名“大村”。[1]1949年至1958年称大村乡，1959年至1980年为大村大队，1980年至1998年改称管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

2017年10月，大村村进入广东省首批卫生村之列；2019年12月，列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村；2020年8月，因鸡枞菌入选广东省农业农村厅首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村；2023年4月，又在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中。[1]
