历史沿革[edit]
1958年立北尾大队；1984年同堰头合为北尾乡；1988年二者分开，北尾设村委会；1991年称管理区；1998年起为北尾村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村；2023年5月公布的2022年度广东省卫生村名单中，有辖内的下海村、塘边村、大村、六湾村、西边塘村、北尾村、烟楼村；2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月）收有该村。[1]
