双头村是兴宁市新圩镇的行政村。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
村名与地形有关：村的东南有石狮寨，西北有鸡灵山，两端都是山峰，因称“双头”。[1]1984至1987年设乡，1987年4月称村，1989年9月行管理区制，1999年4月复称村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，双头村进入「广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年12月，获2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
