德乔村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于镇隆镇北部，辖20个村民小组，在册875户、4150人，总面积约3平方千米，耕地2080亩，种荔枝、黄花梨。村里引进毛纺织企业10多家，帮助本村劳动力就业。[1]
地名由来[edit]
古时村北有一座石桥，原称北桥，1958年谐音写作德桥，1999年起写作德乔。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年属高级社；1958年建德桥生产大队，1962年一度拆为德桥、大石鼓两个大队，1964年又并为一个；到1999年，名称改为德乔村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，德乔村以怀乡鸡入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2023年4月列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位」名单；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
