红星村是广东省肇庆市怀集县岗坪镇下辖的行政村。村委会位于圩镇北部的主村道边，距圩镇1公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

建国初期成立人民政府时，由辖区内十个自然村合并，名“联义村”；后改称“超英连”；1960年改编，定名红星大队，1998年起称红星村民委员会。[1]

概况[edit]

下辖6个村民小组，总人口2848人；有水田1065亩、旱地70亩。村中种有甘蔗约30亩、果苗约20亩、马铃薯约100亩，营造速生丰产林1147.45亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年称超英连，1960年改红星大队，1963年红星、罗屋、庞庙三个队并成一个红星大队；1983年11月设乡，1987年起称村委会，1989年4月又作管理区，1998年定名村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，红星村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
