六双村隶属信宜市镇隆镇，为镇上的行政村之一。位于镇隆镇西部，辖11个村民小组，在册758户、3180人，总面积约2平方千米，耕地960亩，种番薯、玉米和水稻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村内有小河南北贯穿，水色青绿，如游龙一般，原称绿泷，后谐音写作六双。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年的六双生产大队，范围包括今高山、沉埇两地；1961年初三地分设；1999年起称六双村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，六双村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
