历史沿革[edit]
朗西在1958年为生产大队，之后依次改称乡（1984年）、村民委员会（1986年）、管理区（1989年）；1998年10月，恩平市人民政府批准定名朗西村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村分为15个村民小组，包括公朗、田厂、竹围、分水坑等。据村委会概况（以2009年前后数据为主），有747户，农业人口3030人；耕地共1142亩，水田占934亩，其余208亩为旱地，人均0.38亩。作物有水稻、香蕉、莳菇、莲藕，农民以种植为主要收入来源；2009年，村委会的经济总收入为25万元，农民人均纯收入3380元。[1]
