上洞村在开平市百合镇的西部，总面积约7平方千米，有耕地1400亩、林地8000亩，辖14个村小组。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
村内的祠堂、碉楼和民居多建于民国时期，民居属广府式样。村里有不可移动文物18处、县级文物保护单位41处，广府民居178座；文物中较有代表性的有北安楼、家清楼、瑞相楼等碉楼，以及成叠楼、慈建楼、和瑞典楼。[1]
近年建设[edit]
村委会升级了党群服务中心，修建公共厕所4座，装设监控摄像头22个、铺设照明路灯5公里，并开展「三清三拆三整治」改善人居环境。[1]
