地名由来[edit]
村前有一口形如鸡冠的大池塘，土语称“鸡关”，村因此得名。[1]
概况[edit]
总人口4453人；有水田1527亩、旱地151亩。村中建有约30亩沙糖桔种苗基地和约30亩甘蔗基地，并有生猪养殖大户。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
关塘在1987年称管理区，到1998年定名村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，关塘村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
