禾地咀村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇政府西北面，距镇政府驻地约6公里[1]。
地理与人口[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约3.9平方千米，耕地2325亩、山地2797亩，设9个村民小组，总人口3028人。[1]
经济[edit]
村域在新兴江南岸，隔江与白诸镇白沙、湾头两村相望；土地平坦肥沃，是优质水稻和「三高」农业的示范基地。竹和轻木资源多，村民有编织竹器的手工传统。[1]
文化[edit]
大湖塘新村达到生态文明村标准；入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前该地隶高要县二区，1952年划入六区。1955年归莲塘区广华乡。此后成为新桥公社下的禾地咀大队（1958年），翌年转入活道公社；至1983年政社分设，改作禾地咀乡，1987年乡改村民委员会，1989年又叫管理区，到1998年管理区撤销，再次成立村民委员会。[2]
