东横江村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇政府驻地东南方，距镇政府驻地约8公里[1]。
地理与人口[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约2.9平方千米，耕地538亩、山地3526亩，设1个村民小组，总人口811人。[1]
经济[edit]
传统产业是农业，果蔗和沙葛较出名。饮食业较发达，村民自创「横江狗肉」品牌，成为活道乃至高要的一道名菜，珠江三角洲也有食客专程前来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前该地隶高要县二区，1952年划入六区。1955年并入莲塘区江南乡；到1958年隶新桥公社真理大队，1959年转隶活道公社真理大队；至1983年为真理乡辖地，1987年为真理村委会辖地；1989年时真理村委会分设云尾、上横江、东横江、塘苟四个管理区，1998年撤销管理区、设村民委员会。[2]
