真竹村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇域西南面，距镇政府驻地约11公里[1]。

据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约1.5平方千米，耕地393亩、山地1908亩，设1个村民小组，总人口619人。[1]
经济[edit]
盛产辣椒、白瓜、沙糖橘和番薯，其中紫番薯在本地小有名气。南与新兴县东城镇相邻。[1]

2006年获评生态文明村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1955年并入莲塘区江南乡；到1958年隶新桥公社姚村大队，1959年随之转隶活道公社；1979年姚村大队分设姚村、活村、真竹、官塘四个大队；至1983年起相继改乡、设村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1998年恢复村民委员会。[2]
