首岭村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇政府驻地东南方，距镇政府驻地约13公里^[1]。

地理与人口[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约14.8平方千米，耕地2019亩、山地19834亩，设8个村民小组，总人口2602人。^[1]

山多林密、水资源丰富，鸭迳水电站设在村内；农民以种甘蔗、粉葛为主，林业以速生丰产林和建筑木材为主。南面以老香山与高明交界。^[1]

明村、上碟、首岭向阳等自然村建成省卫生村和生态文明村；2015年2月，中央文明委授予首岭村「第四届全国文明村镇」称号。^[1]

建国前该地隶高要县二区，1952年划入六区。1955年并入莲塘区江南乡；到1958年成立首岭大队，隶新桥公社；1959年起转隶活道公社；至1983年称首岭乡，1987年设村民委员会；1989年时首岭村委会撤销，一分为三，即首岭、塘坑、石村三个管理区；1998年恢复为村民委员会。^[2]
