塘坑村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇政府驻地东南方，距镇政府驻地约5公里[1]。

据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约6.2平方千米，耕地607亩、山地6889亩，设4个村民小组，总人口804人。[1]
经济[edit]
土地平坦肥沃，以种养为主：水田种优质水稻，旱地种辣椒、茄子、白瓜、沙糖橘，山上种速生桉，鱼塘养四大家鱼，塘基养瘦肉型猪。近年招商引资，承接了多家转移的工厂，初具工业规模。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
1958年隶新桥公社首岭大队，1959年转隶活道公社首岭大队；至1983年为首岭乡辖地，1987年为首岭村委会辖地；1989年时首岭撤销村委会，一分为三，即首岭、塘坑、石村三个管理区；1998年恢复为村民委员会。[2]
