塘苟村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇政府驻地东南方，距镇政府驻地约8.5公里[1]。

据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约2.7平方千米，耕地483亩、山地3212亩，设1个村民小组，总人口634人。[1]
经济[edit]
传统产业是农业，果蔗、沙葛、时令蔬菜较出名；林业以桉树、杉等建筑用材为主。横江工业园设在村内。[1]
文化[edit]
2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村；入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前该地隶高要县二区，1952年划入六区。1955年并入莲塘区江南乡；到1958年隶新桥公社真理大队，1959年转隶活道公社真理大队；至1983年为真理乡辖地，1987年为真理村委会辖地；1989年时真理村委会分设云尾、上横江、东横江、塘苟四个管理区，1998年撤销管理区、设村民委员会。[2]
