槎头村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇政府北面，距镇政府驻地约8.5公里[1]。
地理与人口[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约5.8平方千米，耕地1989亩、山地6443亩，设5个村民小组，总人口2351人。[1]
经济[edit]
村内有一所完全小学、两座排灌站和一个工业园；耕地种稻，山上种速生桉，鱼塘养四大家鱼，塘基养猪，村民兼有编竹器的传统。该村是镇的北大门，隔新兴江与新桥镇相望。[1]
文化[edit]
入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前该地隶高要县二区，1952年划入六区。1955年称槎头社，归莲塘区江南乡；到1958年与三乡、长岐合并为槎头大队，隶新桥公社；1959年起转隶活道公社；1981年1月分设槎头、长岐两个大队，1983年再合并称槎头乡；1987年起设村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1998年撤销管理区、恢复村民委员会。[2]
