法洞村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇域东面，距镇政府驻地约5.2公里[1]。
地理与人口[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约12平方千米，耕地1434亩、山地16005亩，设11个村民小组，总人口2121人。[1]
经济[edit]
以种植业为主，种优质水稻和各类时令蔬菜，白瓜、苦瓜、丝瓜、粉葛产量较大；林业多种速生桉和松树。[1]
文化[edit]
水云楼、观音朗、新村三个自然村建成省级卫生村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国前该地隶高要县二区，1952年划入六区。1955年并入莲塘区江南乡。此后成为新桥公社下的法洞大队（1958年），翌年转入活道公社；至1983年政社分设，改作法洞乡，1987年乡改村民委员会，1989年又叫管理区，到1998年管理区撤销，再次成立村民委员会。[2]
