姚村是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇辖下的行政村，在镇域西南面，距镇政府驻地约9公里^[1]。

地理与人口[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，全村面积约11.5平方千米，耕地1304亩、山地15497亩，设2个村民小组，总人口1750人。^[1]

村南的春花岭是鸭迳电站上游，水力资源丰富。当地水土适合种水稻，「新家欢」「活雪」牌大米在珠江三角洲有名，是无公害农产品产地认证品牌。该村是上迳片的中心村，2005年设墟，每逢周日为墟日，片区内及新兴县邻近村民前来交易。村内有清乾隆三十四年（1769年）建的姚村水楼。^[1]^[3]

2021年9月入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（大米）；入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）。^[1]

1979年，原姚村大队分设姚村、活村、真竹、官塘四个大队。^[2]
