活道镇圩镇社区是广东省肇庆市高要区活道镇的社区，设在活道圩镇中心，活道镇人民政府驻在此处；博雅地名网称它是全镇的政治、经济和文化中心[1]。

据博雅地名网的社区简介，社区居委会辖区约4.3平方千米，总人口1946人，与迳心、牛围、仙洞、首岭、塘坑、姚村、官塘、法洞、洚上、松坑、槎头、严村、禾地咀、大端等村相邻[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区所在的圩市，早先叫沙尾店。关于现名的来由，地名志有两说：一说是1958年建圩时，因附近山名覆船岗，行人嫌其不吉，为开辟新路而取名「活道」，寓意开创新局面；另一说是此地处在高明与三埠之间的要道上，货物全靠人力肩挑步行，不少挑夫劳累致死，建国前一度称为饿殍店，建国后交通改善，才改称活道圩[1]。镇政府驻地设在圩内，镇名由此而来[1]。
