活道镇是广东省肇庆市高要区南部的镇，东邻莲塘镇，南接佛山市高明区，西靠云浮市新兴县和云城区，北与白诸镇、新桥镇相邻，镇政府距高要区城区约23千米[1]。全镇辖区总面积为231.06平方千米，户籍人口48404人（2019年末）；下辖1个社区、33个行政村[1]。1987年1月由活道区改设为镇[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在明代隶景顺乡横江都，清末划作四区。民国时期：1937年5月起为二区所辖的5个横江乡。建国后的变动依次是：1953年分为6个乡并入五区；1957年归莲塘区；1958年3月并为一个活道乡；1959年7月改立活道公社；进入八十年代，1983年1月公社撤销、设活道区，1987年1月区再改为镇，即今天的活道镇[1][3]

镇政府驻地的圩市，旧称沙尾店。有记载说，这里处在高要通往高明、三埠的要道上，货物靠人肩挑步行，不少人在途中劳累致死，故又名饿殍店；建国后改称活道圩[3]。博雅地名网收录的另一说法见圩镇社区条目。

活道镇处于高要区南部的半丘陵半山区，与高明、云浮、新兴三地交界，亚热带季风气候[1][4]。省道高铜线和县道活车线横贯全镇[4]。

镇内村级建制的变化大致是：1950年代起各村先后设大队，1980年代改为乡、村民委员会，1989年一度称管理区，1998年重设村民委员会；其间有几次拆分，如1969年刘村自松坑分出，1979年姚村、活村、真竹、官塘自姚村大队分设，1978年新村、大迳、鳌头自胜利大队分设，1989年首岭一分为首岭、塘坑、石村，真理一带分设云尾、上横江、东横江、塘苟[9][10]。

人口民族[edit]

据百度百科，2019年末全镇户籍人口48404人[1]。博雅地名网引第七次全国人口普查结果，称活道镇人口为2.55万，在高要区各街道、乡镇中位列第13[3]。该网站收录的早期镇情材料则称全镇面积228平方千米、人口4.6万[4]，口径与年份不同，不宜直接比较。

早年的镇情介绍称，活道镇确定了「工业立镇、工业强镇、农业稳镇」的方针，兴办了饰品、纸品、塑料五金等民营企业；农业上培育活道米品牌，形成蔬菜、果蔗、柑橘和南药等种植基地；镇村公路已全部硬底化，总里程218千米[4]。据百度百科，2019年工业企业共66家，规上企业占4家，营业面积超过50平方米的综合商店、超市共16家[1]。

活道粉葛是中国地理标志产品[2]，由当地野生葛培育而来，据称始于明末清初，以仙洞村所产最出名；原国家质检总局于2014年7月9日批准实施地理标志产品保护[5][7]。2021年9月，活道镇（剑花）入选第三批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇[3]。镇内各村的特色作物还有沙糖橘、辣椒、白瓜、沙葛等，东横江村自创的「横江狗肉」餐饮品牌，在高要和珠江三角洲都有食客[3]。2026年3月，活道镇被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[3]。

工业方面，横江工业园在上横江村一带[11]，鳌头工业园在鳌头村[12]，新村工业园在新迳村[13]，槎头村也有一处工业园[14]。

首岭村在2015年2月获中央文明委授予「第四届全国文明村镇」称号[8]。洞心村在2020年8月入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（辣椒）[15]。其余各村的类似荣誉见各村条目。

名胜古迹[edit]

鳌头村是镇内的红色遗迹集中地。「首届高要县人民政府成立原址」是一座祠堂，原名朝客伍公祠，建筑面积355平方米；据该网站所载，高要县首届人民政府于1949年5月25日在此成立，冯光出任县长，陈普初为副县长[5]。同一网站的村情页则说该政府成立于鳌头村的立本楼或崇德楼，各处说法不一[3]。鳌头抗日自卫队成立旧址即世德堂（又称德刚伍公祠），始建于1938年，占地260平方米；1944年7月，活动在要南地区的游击队在此成立抗日自卫队，伍鉴衡任队长，队员30多人；该建筑2005年8月被公布为县（市）级文物保护单位[5]。村内还有鳌头革命烈士纪念碑，立在273省道旁；还有遗经书房：1946年12月，中共鳌头村支部成立，据称是解放战争时期高要最早的党支部[5]。

姚村水楼在姚村，1769年（清乾隆三十四年）所建，为主楼加副楼的砖木楼房，主楼共四层、高15米，楼里留有一个通往楼外的地下逃生口[5]。陈以载墓在水口村，1541年（明嘉靖二十年）筑，墓前立有两块记述墓主袁州府推官陈以载生平的碑记，对研究陈氏由浙江迁至南雄珠玑巷、再迁高要一带的历史有参考价值[5]。香港道教界建的抱绿山庄在横石村[6]。
