新安村在茂名市化州市新安镇境内南部，是该镇所辖的行政村[1]。据博雅地名网，全村设21个村民小组，共1014户、4562人（该网未注明统计年份），耕地4331亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时，此地称新安乡。1970年大队驻地定在莞草堂村的火烘坡，1970年到1997年间移至新安中学的足球场，即百家地山。此后的行政建制依次是：1983年的新安乡、1987年的新安村委会、1989年的管理区办事处；办公地点则于1997年搬到凉水栋的县道南侧，2004年再迁至新开发区的40米街，建成后称新安村民委员会[1]。

经济[edit]

村里的主要作物是水稻，特色收入来自黄皮、番石榴；该网所列上一年「农村经济总收入」为4537万元（年份未注明）[1]。

荣誉[edit]

  • 2023年4月，新安村出现在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位名单」上[1]。
  • 2026年1月，新安村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」[1]。
