历史沿革[edit]
横岭下的建制变化：民国时期至解放初在钱石乡，1952年土地改革后转到新安乡，1958年新安公社成立时是其中的横岭下大队，1983年撤公社建区公所时叫横岭下乡，1987年划归镇管并称村民委员会，1989年又称管理区办事处[1]。
经济[edit]
村里的主要作物是水稻，特色收入来自花生、黄皮；该网所列上一年「农村经济总收入」为1200万元（年份未注明）[1]。
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月，横岭下村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」[1]。
