历史沿革[edit]
榕树自民国时期到新中国成立初属榕树乡，土地改革后转归新安乡。1958年榕树公社成立，榕树大队随之建立；1983年隶区公所，称榕树乡；1987年2月设村民委员会；1989年为管理区办事处，1999年又称村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
村里的主要作物是水稻，特色收入来自香蕉、荔枝；该网所列上一年「农村经济总收入」为1630万元（年份未注明）[1]。
