历史沿革[edit]
红光在1949年后归新安乡，1952年土地改革后组成红光农业社，1958年新安公社成立后叫红光大队。1983年隶区公所，称红光乡；1987年2月归镇，设村民委员会；1989年为管理区办事处，1999年再称村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
村里的主要作物是水稻，特色收入来自黄皮、香蕉；该网所列上一年「农村经济总收入」为1850万元（年份未注明）[1]。
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年10月，红光村进入「2019年广东省卫生村名录」[1]。
