石下村是广州市增城区新塘镇东区的行政村，村子建在大石之下，故名；村前的复昌桥是广州市文物保护单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子建于一块大石之下，因而叫石下；新中国成立前就这样称呼。1951年土地改革时属新街乡，1956年设石下高级社，1958年并入黄沙头大队，1978年体制下放时分出石下大队；1983年改为石下乡，1987年设石下村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

全村有6个合作社，总人口约2050人，集体经济收益主要来自出租集体用地，每年总收入约200万元。村后有一座馒头山。[2]

石下村在2021年、2022年的淘宝村名单上有名字，2024年3月被命名为广东省卫生村（2023年度）。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

复昌桥在村东南的东江支流上，原为木桥，清光绪九年（1883年）由香港汇丰银行首任买办刘镇西捐银五百两、村民集资改建为花岗岩两墩三孔桥，全长33.8米、宽2.38米。2015年8月公布为第八批广州市文物保护单位。[3]

石下街80号的石溪古庙为清代建筑，三间三进，始建年代不详，清代多次维修，列入第四批增城市文物保护单位。[4]
