新何村是广州市增城区新塘镇中部的行政村，总面积2.2平方公里，宋代建村，1955年起定名新何。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子建于宋代，村民多姓何；1955年划为新何片，名字由此而来。^[1]百度百科称村里曾叫何白乡。^[2]

1951年土地改革后属何白乡，1956年设新何、庆丰两个高级社，1958年为新何大队，隶属新塘公社；1983年改为新何乡，1987年设新何村民委员会。^[1]

新何村处在新塘新旧城区之间，原是旧镇的门户，广深铁路、荔新公路、石新公路、107国道等从村里或村旁经过。^[1]村里有四望岗，海拔85.3米，岗上出槐枝荔枝；1986年土地征用后，经济转向工商业，现有外资工厂和中小企业五十多家。^[2]

新何村在2020年至2022年的淘宝村名单上有名字，2024年11月入选广州市充分就业社区（村）。^[1]

百度百科记载，村里现存传统民居51座，中共新塘支部和中共增城县第一县委的遗址为区级文物保护单位。^[2]

丁鸿（1918—2003）原名湛鉴黎，新何村人，1938年入中共中央青委的安吴青训班学习，同年入党，1939年起在山西安泽县的青年组织中任职。^[3]
