白石村是广州市从化区鳌头镇下辖的行政村，村委会设在镇域北部。[1] 全村面积约5.8平方公里，村民小组共11个，村委会介绍的总人口为1936人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约20公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约5公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1959年人民公社成立后，白石与遇新大队合并；1983年12月归入人和乡，1987年1月分设，称白石村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2021年12月，白石村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，白石村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

村里的农业格局为：山地栽种荔枝、龙眼和黄皮，水田种水稻、蔬菜、花生和瓜类，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的人民公社大饭堂，共1处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
