南坑村是桃舟乡的行政村，与棠棣、达新、莲山、下格、桃舟、康随、吾培等村相邻。[1]

村名来自一条由南向北流入漳平县的山沟，这条溪沟属九龙江水系，因坑而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地属金田乡感德里。1946年划归潘桃乡的棠棣保；1952年隶属第十三区棠棣乡；1958年设感德公社南坑大队，1984年改为村委会，属感德乡；1987年，随着桃舟乡的设立，村脱离感德乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
