南坑村是惠州市惠阳区新圩镇的行政村，在惠阳区西南部山区，相传由梅州五华的移民在明末建村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传明朝末年，梅县五华县长乐的村民迁到这里定居，距今400多年。1985年改称南坑生产大队，1986年至1998年称南坑管理区，1999年起设南坑村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村在边远山区，山多、洼地多，因此叫南坑。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
据新圩镇情介绍，南坑村有区级文物保护单位新围场李氏民居。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单；2021年获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
