南坑村是肇庆市鼎湖区凤凰镇的行政村，是鼎湖区最偏远的行政村，离321国道25公里，与高要的水南镇相邻。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清乾隆年间（1736年至1795年），蔡氏人家从惠州紫金迁此建村。1959年7月称南坑大队；1963年与田心合为南田大队，1980年12月重新分开；1983年4月改乡，1986年称南坑村，属广利镇；1992年12月起属新设的凤凰镇，之后改称南坑村民委员会。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
全村面积约15平方公里，辖15个村民小组，共227户、1074人。[1]2005年起，省纪委开展驻村帮扶，行路、用电、看病、通讯、办公场所等困难逐步解决。村里种肉桂和沙糖桔，养百日鹅、土鸡；村集体收入增至4.6万元，建成生态文明村1条、省级卫生村1个。[1]
