西山村位于广东省惠州市惠东县白花镇，是该镇的村级单位之一。据说村子西南面有一座半月形的山岭，叫西山月，后来简称西山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代至同治八年（1869）为上下淮社所辖，次年划归归善县堡良约堡。1940年归惠阳县第四区莆田乡，1949年12月定名西山村；1957年12月曾叫西田村。1958年10月起设西山大队，后来又有一段时间叫西田大队，直到1984年4月才恢复西山村的名称。1987年3月成立村委会，1990年称管理区，1999年起称西山村委会。[2]
