南坑村位于上京镇境内，是上京镇所辖的16个行政村之一。[1]

村名由辖区内两处地名各取一字组合而成。2024年，本村被命名为三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]

村名由南屏山、老坑两处地名各取一字组合而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

本村原归漳平县聚贤里。明嘉靖十四年（1535年）大田设县后划入大田，清代改隶永春州的聚贤里。民国期间归上京乡管辖；1950年2月，改属大田县第二区。[1]

1957年撤区后，本村仍归上京乡；1958年改归桃源公社，1961年改归上京公社。1984年改制后，本村称上京镇南坑村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，本村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
