南坑村位于福建省三明市三元区中村乡西部，村庄靠近真人旗山脚，距乡政府约14.5公里，距市区约14.5公里，村内有一个畲族自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

因村委会设在此村，得名南坑村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔507米，山脚下的真人旗海拔1275.6米。村中林木繁茂，木材、毛竹、笋干之外，还产桔子、桃李、西瓜与蔬菜；村内有一座小型水库，周围是果园与田园。[1]

人口民族[edit]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初年，此地旧称南洋堡。1940年为三元县辖区，建国初期此地归三元第三区公所管辖。[1]

1959年公社化后划入中村公社，设南坑大队；1983年改设中村办事处下的南坑村；1987年撤办事处建乡，南坑村改为村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，本村由福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
