塘边社区是广东省东莞市寮步镇下辖的社区，位于寮步镇中心区，北面与良边村相连，西面接坑口社区，莞樟公路贯穿辖区。[1]

社区面积约0.36平方千米，由两个自然村组成，下设塘边、寮步两个居民小组。截至2024年，户籍人口2011人、755户，外来人口约5000人，居民以邝姓为主。[1] 社区于2016年获「广东省宜居社区」称号，2022年获「东莞市绿色社区」称号。[1]

产业与市场[edit]

社区所在的华南工业区内有一片110亩的塘边工业区，主干道长38米，与石大路和莞樟公路相接。工业区内设有鼎昊自动孵化园。2022年，辖区有产值过亿元的工业企业1家，规模以上企业5家，高新技术企业10家。[1]

社区内的塘边综合市场规模较大，与多间大型商场一道构成商业中心。[1]

环境与文化建设[edit]

社区在乡村振兴的思路下，把环境整治与文化建设放在前面。岭头公园由约500万元建成，配有健身设施与公厕，园内有鹤源亭、一条80米长的文化长廊，并设120个停车位。[1]

另投入约60万元建成综合文化服务中心，内有健身房、电子阅览室、图书室和多功能室。社区还推行美丽圩镇建设，通过「四小园」、墙绘和道路硬化等，改善旧围一带的面貌。[1]

党建方面，岭头公园设有入党誓词石刻和党建工作室，「四小园」处立有党员责任牌。[1]
