下蚌村是广东省肇庆市广宁县古水镇下辖的村。下蚌村位于古水镇南部，有“南大门”之称，四会至连山的省道从旁经过，村边是绥江，水陆两路都方便。村里已引进竹厂、加油站、砖厂等项目。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间隶顾溪铺。新中国成立后，1954年组成下塝农业社，1958年改作下塝大队；1983年建下蚌乡，1987年建村委会，1998年起叫下蚌村民委员会。[1]
地名来历：村名来自1983年成立的下蚌乡，1987年该乡改为村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村辖17个自然村，据博雅地名网所载，2008年前后有505户1966人，耕地460亩，山林1130亩，鱼塘5亩，党员58人。[1]
