带下村在石狗镇西部，是镇内较偏远的山区村，狗岗公路贯通全村，辖28个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革与地名由来[edit]
相传约500年前，人们在带下陂上游100米处修建水陂，陂前立碑，陂基为石龙，根基稳固，村名由此而来。前身是1958年成立的带下生产大队，1987年改设管理区，1998年起称带下村民委员会。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村域面积17.2平方公里，总人口3278人。[1]
经济[edit]
村里山地多，水源足，适合种植沙糖桔和竹子。村内有夜明珠水电站，是“十百千万”活动的成果。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有新寨古村屋，以青灰色石砖砌成；曲水河流经村中。合龙村后半山腰有新寨革命烈士纪念碑，碑上刻“李班长”，距合龙村约60米，当地调查后仍查不到烈士的真实姓名。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，带下村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
