名称由来[edit]
这里原是一片平整肥沃的田地，当地习惯把良田叫作文田；村中有刘、方、钟三个姓氏，合起来称三文田[1][2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1963年，三文田、黄头、大山三个大队并成一个，仍称三文田大队；此后1983年成三文田乡，1986年成农村管理区，1999年起称三文田村民委员会[1]。村辖三文田、大山等自然村[2]。
经济与文化[edit]
村以种植水稻为主，推广机械化耕种和收割。百度百科称，村里的小学历史悠久，约千人的村庄出过百余位教师；村内有面积2万亩的基本农田保护区[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，三文田村入选广东省卫生村名录[1]。
