1983年时叫坡头乡；1987年时叫坡头村委会；1989年时叫坡头管理区；1999年起叫坡头村委会；沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
坡头村在2022年8月被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
广东省爱卫会在2021年12月授予坡头村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
