历史沿革[edit]
陶塘在1958年是四会县清塘公社下的陶塘大队；1987年改管理区，1993年设村民委员会，均在清塘镇名下；1994年起归东城街道；2012年村改居，成为社区居委会。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网所载村情：村在四会大道中旁，面积8.6平方千米，辖16个自然村，总人口2259人（党员54人）；以种养业为主，耕地2709亩，鱼塘1376亩，另引进企业8家，2008年村集体收入405.4万元。村内有历史悠久的莲花古寺。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，陶塘社区获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
