1999年，水口改设村民委员会。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，水口村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予水口村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2022年1月，水口村由广东省乡村振兴局确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
