水口村是佛山市顺德区北滘镇西北部的行政村，在佛山新城东南，面积2.8平方千米，细海河和水上河绕村而过。^[1]^[2]

名称由来与沿革[edit]

村子靠近河口，水运方便，设有水埠，可泊各种货船，起初取名「吉水」，也叫「上水」，含逢凶化吉之意；1948年改称水口。^[1]1950年属第五区莘村乡，1958年并入上僚大队，1961年分出，成立水口大队，1998年设村委会。^[1]

全村分东街、北街、叶家、张家、沙尾、上陈六个村民小组；有常住户籍814户，常住人口2998人，外来暂住3200多人。^[1]^[2]村办工业区466亩，由承租方自建厂房，进驻企业36家；可耕地1300亩，其中鱼塘950亩，其余种花卉、养禽畜，形成高档水产与名贵花卉并重的格局。^[2]

2008年，水口获「广东省卫生村」称号。^[2]2013年10月，沙尾桥建成通车；修缮完成的古祠堂有四座：梁氏宗祠、梅林祖梁氏宗祠、国悦梁公祠，以及张氏宗祠。^[2]2009年成立的水口福利会用善款资助助学、助医、助困。^[2]2020至2022年，水口三度列入淘宝村名单。^[1]
