水口村位于惠州市惠城区，由水口街道管辖，是一个行政村[1]。街道即以水口为名。
地名由来[edit]
村临近东江的入水口，因而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年，水口按惠阳县的乡镇编制建制；1958年公社化后，立水口生产大队，隶属水口人民公社；1965年划入惠阳县水口公社；1985年冬转为水口管理区，1999年7月起设村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
水口村名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单公布于2019年9月。[1]
