历史沿革[edit]
1949年设水口村，1951年改乡，1956年成立水口农业社；1957年12月并入高潭乡，属惠阳县，1958年底成水口大队，到1963年2月改隶高潭公社。[1] 1983年恢复水口乡的名称，1987年3月设村委，1989年称管理区，1998年改为水口村委会。[1]
